David Duchovny might be best known for playing Agent Fox Mulder on X-Files, or writer Hank Moody on Californation. However, this Renaissance man is multi-talented, and also has directing, songwriting, and producing credits to his name.

But the reason we have him speaking with Marilyn Russell is something for which he might be lesser known...but no less talented. David has just released his third novel...that's right, his third. The first two, "Holy Cow" and "Bucky F*cking Dent," were received quite well in the literary community, and his newest, "Miss Subways" is already getting shining reviews.

The novel is based on a piece of Irish mythology in which a woman is told by a Celtic fairy that she can save her husband from death the next day...if she renounces their marriage and any memory he may have of knowing or loving her. What follows is a twisted tale set against the modern-day city of New York that captures emotion, humor, and suspense, in beautiful form that leaves you unable to put the book down.
