Hoddie arrived safely in NE (thanks Sonja! 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_smile) to a warm welcome. He got out the globe to see where he was, and was helped out by one of the locals. 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_wink He then spent the rest of the night learning how to play some X-files music on the piano, then went to bed early, as he was quite tired from the long trip.

Yesterday was quite a busy day for me, so Hoddie went out with some new friends. 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_wink He had lunch with Ella McPhont, where he ran into a celebrity. (The White Rabbit? I'm jealous!) They then went on to join a local drummer, and rocked out until The White Rabbit had to go. Something about being late for a very important date...

Okay, get ready for a long one guys. Hoddie had a busy day! We started our official sight-seeing, so after he got ready I decided to take him to Chimney Rock. But first, he kindly stood in for a sick knight in a giant game of chess, then decided to go fishing with a grandpa and his twin sons while I did some work. Next he checked out the giant squash and cucumbers in the garden. Then we started our road trip!

We headed out just before sunset, and stopped to meet my grandparents on the way, because Hoddie said he wanted to meet a real life hard-working farmer. (My grandpa got such a kick out of Hoddie he wanted to take a picture with him. 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_smile)

And then we were back home! 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_smile

Just updated Hoddie's Journal HERE. Today he decided to go hiking with my dad (who, by the way was awesome to take a teddy bear with him on his Sunday hike. LoL) I didn't get to go with him, but it looks like he had a great time!

Haha, thanks everyone! And yes, my dad does rock. 2009/08/25 - Hoddie's time in NE Icon_razz As does my mom, who took Hoddie to go visit her 4th grade class yesterday. The kids loved Hoddie. They e-mailed me today to ask what he was going to do today. Awww LoL Anyway, here are the pics the kids took when he was at school. Looks like he learned a lot!
