The celebrations in Hollywood have continued as all the celebs came out for the 2024 Critics Choice Awards. With a stellar performance from show host Chelsea Handler —  who not only upstaged but joked and jabbed her former boyfriend Jo Koy's recent hosting duties — the plethora of female empowerment shown on the night and big winners like Oppenheimer, The Holdovers, Barbie, Succession, Beef and The Bear taking their rightful place in victory it is what happened away from the cameras that Los Angeles magazine caught both inside the show and the red carpet that was the real highlights of the show. Pedro Pascal, the star of The Last of Us and 'The Mandalorian' has been wearing a sling on his right arm after what he explained was caused by a fall. While walking into the Barker Hanger from the red carpet for the show, that is when he bumped into 'Monk' star Tony Shalhoub. Instead of a simple back-and-forth of sharing pleasantries, Pedro was acting like a big fan and was falling over his words as he was trying to introduce himself. He also mentioned to Tony his love for all that Tony has done in his career. Pedro continued to have his fanboy moment until David Duchovny interrupted and asked Pedro about his injury and if it still "hurts." Pedro mentioned that he felt good, took David's hand to rub on his arm and knocked on his arm like he was knocking on a door to show that the sling was doing its job, and then mentioned, "The only problem with it is that it is really sweaty!"
